Founded in 2012, TB Novin (“TB New”) started as a small volunteer sputum-collection network. Today we are a full-spectrum lung-health foundation: prevention, active case finding, nutrition support, mental health, research and policy advocacy. Our name tbnovin.org stands for transparency — every donation, every cure, published.

Is tuberculosis curable?

How does TB spread? Should I isolate?
TB spreads via air when untreated person coughs. After 2 weeks of treatment you are no longer infectious. Wear mask first 2 weeks, ventilate rooms, cover cough. No need to throw dishes or isolate family.
What are symptoms I should not ignore?
Cough >2 weeks, low fever evenings, night sweats, weight loss, chest pain, fatigue. In kids: poor growth, prolonged fever. Get free screening — 10 minutes, painless.
